Sea World Part Two

I was contemplating leaving you hanging with Part One...and no continuation. Would that be mean? I wouldn't want to upset the balances in blogdom. So I had better say a few words about our second round at Sea World.

We really saw the best of everything on Day One -- the dolphin show, the sea lion show, the pet show, and SHAMU. But we didn't have time for rides or many exhibits. So that's what we came back for on Day Two. We took Peter on a couple of kiddie rides first...the fishie go up and down and the spinning teacups. He didn't look scared -- I think he thought it was really fun!

We were able to touch the bat rays and watch the dolphins as they were being trained...we touched starfish and sea urchins...felt like we were swimming with sharks (as we walked through an underwater tunnel)...we saw jellyfish and lion fish and sea horses...watched penguins dive for fish...

Tim enjoyed the two 'adult' rides -- getting quite wet on both! He said that was his first roller coaster and it wasn't too bad. He managed to hold onto his breakfast...

All in all -- we enjoyed our visit and we can say we visited every exhibit/show/ride available to us. We walked about 5 miles each day and bought NO souvenirs. A successful adventure.
