Advance Planning...Just Because.
I know it's a bit early to be planning Peter's birthday party (not 'till May 20th), but true to character, I am getting it done ahead of time! That way I can enjoy making the invitations over the next few weeks and slowly collect the items I need at hopefully cheaper prices.
Hopefully I won't spoil your day by telling you a bit about it -- no surprises necessary, right??
Well, I like the idea of a BUGZ theme -- ants, spiders, caterpillars, ladybugs, bees, dragonflies, etc. This sounds like an easy theme to pull off and fun for 2-3 year olds. I want to make a spider cake (ya, I know, it'll be a bit sweet), but we'll have lots of fruits and healthy yum as well. We'll read fun books about bugs and listen to music about bugs...and go on a bug hunt!
