Speaking of My Faith
Recently, I came across a blog posting that really speaks to my misunderstanding of the character of God.
There are a number of texts in my Bible much like this one in Revelation (3:16) that seem contradictory to the verses that speak of God's unfailing love and protectiveness. I suppose we have to know the audience to which the texts are addressed. And some define these audiences differently.
Simply, I'm looking for new interpretations of Bible verses that have caused misunderstandings and pain in the past. This blog post helped me. Maybe it can help you too. :)
