Not Like Winter

I REALLY don't like winter.

I've come to the conclusion that if I'm going to enjoy 58.3% of the year, I'd better learn some more coping mechanisms.

So I made a list of things I don't like about winter:
Too many hours of darkness
Too cold!
Less exercise because of the darkness and cold
Sickness
Less socializing because of the sickness
Less outdoor playtime because of the darkness
Too many sugary treats leading to sickness
Not enough hours of sunlight leading to depression
And my list of coping mechanisms:
Take Vitamin D supplements to simulate sunshine
Make less sugary treats and eat lots of citrus
Have a basket by the door filled with hats/gloves/coats
Swim at the indoor pool in the evenings
Have indoor family projects to work on in the evenings
TRY going out in the cold to see how long we last
It's going to take some effort, but I really want to learn to enjoy winter. And half of fall. And half of spring too, these days. This is a start, I'll keep working on it.

What do you do to get past the inconveniences of a season you don't like?
