Do Chickens Lay Eggs?

Somehow we got on the topic of classification this morning. Classifying animals based on whether they lay eggs or give birth to live babies. Interesting topic!

I hadn't ever seen anything hatch out of an egg! It was a very interesting thing to watch! This particular video is of a parrot egg. It's very tiny.

Then we watched a chicken laying an egg! And they do that multiple times in a day!
