What May 2010 Has Taught Me

1) Menu planning really makes a difference. Having the groceries on hand and a plan in mind gets the food on the table. And the family happy. Really.

2) Write it down! Lists really do help me focus. Even if it's writing down simple tasks -- just for the sake of getting them out of my short term memory. The piece of paper can do the remembering for me and I'll have time to think about more important things.

3) It's OK to put a book aside {quit reading it} if I really don't like it. No guilt. Send it on to someone else.

4) I love paperbackswap.com!

5) I am learning to embrace tolerate the rain. And trying really hard to find fun things to do in it.

6) I can push my body and it will {sometimes} deliver. Exercise has become more regular and more intense this month. More pain and waiting to see the gain.

7) I like making photo collages. And wordles.

8) They really do make toilets with enough flushing power. What a great birthday present.

9) My boys grow up so fast. Underwear makes them look ten times older.
