Book Love

Three new favorites on my windowsill:

The Voice New Testament published by Thomas Nelson
Because a modern literary voice is taking something I've read a thousand times before and making it new and refreshing.
So far, finding this a great early morning read.

I Was a Really Good Mom Before I Had Kids by Trisha Ashworth and Amy Nobile
Because I've been taking motherhood way too seriously for way too long. And I need a good laugh.
And how about an attitude adjustment? So far, I'm finding tons of applicable truth among the humor.

One Thousand Gifts: A Dare to Live Fully Right Where You Are by Ann Voskamp
Because life has planted many doubts in my mind. And I'm on a journey toward living fully, never forgetting that God has a reason for
every single thing that happens. And we have every reason to remain grateful. And trust Him.
So far, a deeply emotional read. Sending me in the right direction.

If you'd like to read One Thousand Gifts and be part of a very large group of women also reading this book, visit {in}Courage and their new{ly acquired} book club, Bloom.

If you've joined Jess and Ang for any of the previous books read with the Bloom Book Club...you know it's good. And this time, Ann Voskamp will be joining them for the weekly video discussions. Super awesome! Get the book at Dayspring or Amazon and join in reading together!
