INL {Idaho National Laboratory}
Daddy-o's request was a quick stop at the famous EBR-1, the world's first nuclear power plant. This museum has been kept in such perfect condition...much of it left just as it was when it was decommissioned.
Lots of fun scientific information. Plenty of places to explore. Handles to twist. Buttons to push. The kids loved it. Of course, Tim loved it. He was surprised that much of the equipment was newer than what he uses at work!
I tried to wrap my brain around it all, but I'll have to graduate from Parenting 301 before I have the neurons to handle such things. Hot storage, rod nursery, NaK, SCRAM switch...very cool stuff.
If you have any nerds in the family, I highly recommend a visit.
