Shifting Gears

we are still happy

just a bit more quiet

because it's hot

and we are flat on our backs in the grass

catching up on sleep

or rather falling asleep in Walmart

bringing home too many cherries

sitting on the couch staring

We are all experiencing a jet lag of sorts.
