31 Days To Happier Children

Writing has always been a passion of mine. Since I was young. But lately...lately I've been really really enjoying it.

The ability to get thoughts out of my little head and organized. The option to look back a few months and reminisce, or remind myself of what I once knew. The creative release.

Writing makes me feel complete -- like adding granola to my yogurt. It's the yeast flakes on my toast, the cream cheese on my bagel. Life is dry without words on a page.

And so -- my blog has become more of a place to come and read. Read stories about Jesus, read about our life experiences, read about what it is really like to be a mom. Read a bit about our learning philosophies. And now...

How about a little bit about having happy children?

What we ALL want. And sometimes so seemingly illusive.

The month of October has 31 days. The month of October will be chock full of interesting blogs to read. You will not believe how many. :) I've been reading Life With My 3 Boybarians for awhile. She got me started on my photography journey last October with her series -- "31 Days to a Better Photo". {Thank you Darcy!!} This October she'll be blogging for 31 days straight about photography again -- this time, tips to make your photographs even prettier. A 102 class. I'm excited!!

I'm sure they will all agree that we aren't the experts on our chosen topic. Nope. But we want to learn more and do our super best at it. We want to write about marriage because in doing so, it'll make us better spouses. We want to write about changing the world, because it will open our eyes and hearts.

I want to write about having happier children, to make me aware, intentional and purposeful in my parenting journey!

Some days I have very sad children. And I do my best to learn from those days.
I will write from my experiences. I will write inspiration from books. I will write.

I hope you will join me! You'll want to follow me on Facebook and subscribe to my blog in a reader, so you don't miss a single post!

October 1st to October 31st. 31 Days. 31 Days to Happy!
