Ending Summer with a Splash

Splashing friends. Birthday surprise cake. Water balloon rush. Slide splashdown.

We don't ever seem to get enough water play in before summer's end. The too-hot days somehow keep us indoors and then September sneaks up on us. So it was nice to plan this party with friends and enjoy intentional water splashing fun. 

I think the dads may have had the most fun.

But don't get in between a boy and his chocolate goodness.

And there's always the warm water hose when clouds hide the sun.
