Adventure Together | Day Thirty

Teach your child to love nature and crave adventure.

Family adventures promote values we want to instill in our kids -- simplicity, peace, and the absence of materialism.

Travel helps children to see the big picture -- to grow in their knowledge and understanding of the world they live in.

Road tripping has been memorable for us. I'm usually a pretty organized mom -- it's all about the schedule and the routine. And kids need that. But kids also need a break from the everyday. They need to experience new situations and be part of interesting adventures. Taking our lives on the road for awhile was freeing and certainly helped us connect and make memories together.
