Berry Season | Blackberry Bramble -- SOLD!!

It's blackberry season in our backyard. We have half a dozen thornless blackberry plants that are loving the hot weather and giving us huge sweet berries for our morning oatmeal.

This quilt, the largest of my recent projects, reminds me of a back-forty bramble of blackberry vines.

Its combo of rich purple and lighter lavender along with the contrasting greens makes for a vibrant yet outdoorsy feel. There is a layer of green flannel sandwiched between two layers of 100% cotton designer fabrics making the frayed edges even softer.
