[faith] my identity
I need a good reminder after this week. A reminder that my identity is in Jesus, not in how well I do things. There have been many photos taken and many theme songs played {#VBS} and my emotions have been all over the place. A sweet photo will send me up, a couple with bad light or messy focus will send me down again.
Remind me -- the things I do are simply ways of glorifying God...really, that's what it's all about. Resting in that, doing my best, enjoying the pleasure of it, being grateful for the gifts. I've needed to worry less about measuring up or gaining recognition.
My identity is a gift. And I'm becoming who He wants me to be. #bestthingever
