Just in case you thought my new blog design wouldn't embrace a bit of color...

I was working on my computer with the front door open, listening to the sounds of neighborhood children, including my own. I heard "Peter has a..." quietly at first, but soon everyone joined in making the cries of "Peter has a GIRLFRIEND" very loud.
Oh my word. It starts early, doesn't it?
Spring fever has hit them all, young and old. Course I ran outside and firmly suggested that they not tease about girls and boys being friends anymore {did I make too much of it?}. I remember being in the first grade and hearing whispered remarks about my "boyfriend". It's absolutely ridiculous and I think it puts unnecessary thoughts into little people's heads. Just let them all be friends!! *rant over*
