The Garden

The #Project7 garden in Haiti really inspired me to get some fruits and vegies growing in our backyard. We always try very hard at the beginning, then slack off and things tend to go wrong. I'm not sure what bugs or diseases get the better of us, but it seems like always always the little baby leaves are chewed off or the ripe strawberries are half-eaten or the tomato leaves turn splotchy and yellow.

It's a love-hate relationship in which I try to get by without doing any of the work, hoping for fantastic results. I'd do more work if I knew what to do...maybe I just need to take some classes about bugs and diseases. Sounds fun.
