Devil's Garden | Hole in the Rock

We're talking fun climbing rocks here, people. Sticky sandstone that has been eroded in neat shapes, with little hide-outs and arches...the kids will love it. We played here for a couple hours and watch another family hide Easter eggs for their kids! We visited in April and the temps were just right. This would be a hot destination mid-summer, I'm sure.

Trip Details:
From Escalante, drive east on HWY 12 and take Hole in the Rock road going south. It's not terribly far down the road, but you'll definitely get dusty and bumped around. #destinationworththetrouble The parking lot is right next to the rocks, so this isn't really a hike, BUT you can spend hours climbing around the many rocks, so pack some good shoes.
