Fiery Furnace Guided Hike | Arches National Park

Trip Details:
Fiery Furnace Guided Hike -- This is a three mile hike that takes a really long time [two hours] because of the intermittent ranger talks. Slightly annoying when you have kids who just want to GO, but having a guide was really worth it since this place is a maze. We met one older lady hiking by herself that hadn't a clue how to get out and wanted to follow our group. Also, there were some sketchier rock squeezes and climbs that were made easier by an experienced leader. It's totally worth the money and slight hassle. We learned some cool stuff about Arches NP and the rocks and trees and had a great hike.

By the end, Ezra had maneuvered himself to the beginning of the line, right behind the ranger, and wasn't missing a single beat. My boys are pros now after a week of sandstone hiking. And Ezra will need new pants #buttslide.

Check out the National Park website for more info and remember to reserve your spot well in advance [two-three months!].
