April Sunshine and Now May Flowers | Weekending
I often get introspective and reflective when new months arrive. It's like I sense time passing and start contemplating whether life is being lived well...what could we do better? How can we create some more solid habits?
We found a tree fort by the water this weekend and that makes me feel like life is good. April was different than the previous three months, certainly. We vacationed, we relaxed, we skied, we mountain biked, we kayaked. I'm down to three days of after school care and I didn't sub once, so my work life has felt much different. I had time to sew a rag quilt. The boys are in a solid piano practicing routine.
May should look much the same plus field trips (three of them!). And then comes summer. Summer, oh summer. I always get carried away. We have a lot of plans. #firelookout #hawaii #laketahoe #portland #kayakcamping
I continue to resolve to take more photos with my big girl camera, but it's just not convenient!! I have too many phone photos and although I'm thankful for those...I just like the higher quality shots better. Gotta make it happen.
A cake made out of crepes. This seems too good to be true. #shavedchocolate #strawberries #whippedcream
Camping Along the Pacific
Some great campsite ideas for your next road trip. Steep Ravine is fantastic!!! And I want to backpack along Rialto Beach!
