ONE Adventure | November 2025
Well, this month wasn't much better than October in the realm of adventures and photography! I worked quite a few shifts, took one substitute teaching job, and enjoyed four weeks of Spanish classes (two per week). I can't say I'm much more fluent, but it was interesting... ;) I think 2026 needs to include MANY more trips to Spanish speaking countries.
I visited my Grandma up in Canada and got to see my aunt and cousin as well! Ezra's four wisdom teeth were removed (not impacted and he didn't even need stitches). We've had game nights and tacos at our house several times! And I've managed to get 75 miles on my bike trainer (my goal for this month was 200).
A favorite day was riding the bus up to Leavenworth with our bikes and then riding the 30 miles back home!! It was a beautiful crispy cool, but sunny fall day! LOVED this.
And of course, the main highlight this month was a quick zip over to Vegas with friends!! I was stoked to get to ride in a ZOOX (still in the training stage in San Francisco and Vegas) and enjoyed some incredible ice cream and cake (yeah Cheesecake Factory)!! We made it over to see Hoover Dam and hike a little slot canyon. Cirque du Soleil was a very exciting experience as well! I don't think I need to go to Vegas ever again though...I'm good!!
It was so nice having Peter home for Thanksgiving break! And he'll be back for two weeks in December too. I'm getting ready to see what December is like in the southern hemisphere!!
