Biking 350 Miles + Disc Golf in Norway | June 2026
I had so much fun biking across Ohio from Cincinnati to Cleveland!! Ever heard of the Ohio to Erie Trail? It's a connected system of trails (some converted rail lines), mostly paved, mostly off road, where you can get a super fun amount of mileage and see some pretty country!
It took me seven days, but I could have made my sixth day longer and completed in six. Surprisingly, I didn't encounter many other people thru-riding the trail, most were out exercising closer to home which is also cool. Very nice trails for the most part, great experience!!
I would do it again, but from north to south next time!
We hit five countries in our tour -- UK, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Italy! Taxes and fees to fly home from Rome are only $65 compared to the $250 price tag to fly out of London, so I'll probably be positioning to Rome every time!
Fun times, even though we spent a lot of time on trains, buses, and airplanes...
In other news, Pete is home for the summer (YAY!!) and finished his junior year with a 4.0 (WOW!!!). He's taking two summer classes and working almost full time. What a cool kid.
Ez is soooo close to getting his private pilot license, any day now. He's taking four summer classes and getting ready to start his Airplane Maintenance Technology program (YES!!!).
