Goodnight Moon

We played "rewind a year" this morning and read one of Peter's favorite toddler books. It was fun to look for the little mouse on each "green room" page and even more fun to hide "baby sheepie" in the dresser drawer or in the closet or on the windowsill and try to find him! We took turns. Peter now knows how to play hide and seek. 

We watched the animated version of Goodnight Moon (very cool). We designed a night picture, saying goodnight to the stars, moon, asteroid belts, and everyone. We thought of words that rhyme with moon and wrote a poem.

Goodnight moon

And the dish and spoon

Good night balloon

And the big black baboon

Don't say goodnight to the masked raccoon.
