Childhood Seven

Peter has a new funny saying. "Double oops!" I think he learned it from our new DVD -- the Talking Words Factory from Leapfrog. Which I think is great, by the way!

-----

Today, Peter had a friend over to play with. Double yay. They had tons of fun together and gave me a little reprieve! But this conversation really made me smile:
              Peter: "My baby is learning to walk. Does your baby walk?"
              Rachel: "Not yet." {big smiles}
              Peter: "Ya...my baby is bigger."

--

Peter has been saying "I wish" a lot lately.

"I wish we could go outside." "I wish I could have an almond butter sandwich." "I wish I could ride my Jeep." "I wish I could play with Brayden."

--

Ezra's smile and laughter is as contagious as ever. He says "da-da" very emphatically. And loves to go boom on his bottom.

--

Ezra has become a wanderer. If he finds a door open, out he goes! Down the driveway, down the street. He's outta here. Gotta watch that boy.

--

So, Peter says, "I'm going to get married so I can have a husband. But not today. Later."

--

Peter: "You look nice, Mommy. Even with that skirt."
