Thursday Adventures
Thursday is hike day. We went out in search of a new trail to walk on. Without much hope of finding one...but wanting to give it a try anyhow.
We found a fundirt mud road to drive on (and got the car all mud-splattered). Cool views, but nowhere real safe to get out and slog around in our mud boots.
So, we drove back into town, passing this poor old broken barn. Tractor still inside.
Unfortunately, Ezra didn't find our trip adventurous enough, and ended up asleep. But woke up as we crept to a stop in the garage. And that was his nap for the day.
Lesson: Leave for morning adventure before ten o'clock so we can be home when he gets tired. Because short naps = early bedtimes = EARLIER mornings = grumpy mama.
