Flipped
I flipped for Flipped by Wendelin Draanen. I guess there's a movie of it now...but what can beat the written word? It really was well written. Enchanting.
I especially love picturing her {the main female character} up high in the sycamore tree, musing. I had days up in trees as well. So restful. So inspirational.
The "flipping" scenario is hilarious and pretty believable. And I love how the grandfather saw past circumstances to the people's hearts. And how beautiful they were.
If you like a fun childhood romance splattered with humorous anecdotes...you'll love Flipped. ;)
Have you ever flipped? Felt one way about something and then totally changed your perspective/opinion?
