Two Tiny Trips + Spring Break at Home | March 2026

We went to Winthrop, WA for the hot air balloon festival and stayed at the gorgeous North Cascades Mountain Hostel. It was too warm for cross country skiing or snowshoeing, but we managed to find a few fun things to do with our friends. :) 

The original plan was for Julie and I to visit some of her relatives in the DC area, but our flight ended up being full with no space for standby passengers and with the tornado and terrorism warnings, we decided to postpone that adventure and just stay in San Diego for a couple days. 

And then the last week of March was SPRING BREAK for both boys, so we enjoyed family time together (and passport renewal appointments)!!

April will be BUSIER!! Get some sleep, Laura...
